- Located in the coastal holiday village of Chapel St. Leonards, Merryfield and Sandfield Holiday Centres provide self-catering accommodation (no tourers or tents) for everything needed to ensure a splendid family holiday that won't break the bank!
Merryfield Holiday Centre is ideal for a carefree family holiday. Our location is just a short walk (by way of a beach side promenade) from the village centre and is situated a very short walk behind the sand hills and the beach. There are no roads to cross to access the beach and the location is ideal for those with young children. Secluded behind high sand dunes, the peaceful environment complements both the tranquillity of the countryside with all that this modern, lively and popular resort has to offer. - Tourist Attractions
- The resort is some 6 miles north of Skegness with its comprehensive entertainment, illuminations, clubs etc. During the holiday season, the area is bubbling with entertainment, nightlife, local shops, pubs restaurants and "take-aways", in fact everything that is needed to provide a haven for a holiday destination for all ages. A regular bus service is available to and from Skegness and to Mablethorpe to the north.
Miles of sun-kissed, safe, clean, golden beaches and sand dunes, - some of which are all but deserted, are just waiting to be enjoyed and explored. - Directions
- From Boston / Skegness:
At Skegness, proceed towards Mablethorpe on A52, passing through Ingoldmells village (3 1/2 miles). Proceed straight over traffic lights after leaving Ingoldmells (3/4 mile). Take first right turn into Trunch Lane after about 1 mile. Follow Trunch Lane, bearing left into South Road at junction. After about 3/4 mile, turn into unadopted road at the "White House" public house. Merryfield reception is opposite the White House, on the right side.
Please note: At peak times, to avoid Skegness town traffic, take A16 from Boston to junction with A158. Bear right at roundabout to Skegness and follow directions below.
From Lincoln:
At Gunby Corner roundabout (shortly after Candlesby village) take 2nd exit (A158) - keep in LEFT lane. Filtering into country road proceed through Orby village to traffic lights at A52 junction (about 7 miles). Turn left into A52 and take first right turn in to Trunch Lane in about 1 mile. Follow Trunch Lane, bearing left into South Road at junction. After about 3/4 mile, turn into unadopted road at the "White House" public house.
