Grondre Holiday Park

Set away from busy roads and noisy towns, Grondre is well suited to families and couples who are looking to escape from it all and have a quiet, relaxing break. We are on the border between Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire - making us conveniently placed for visiting many 'must see' attractions with the breathtaking scenery and friendly atmosphere all combining to create a truly memorable holiday experience.
Grondre is the ideal location to enjoy your next touring and camping holiday. There are a variety of different pitch types available that can accommodate touring caravans, motor
homes, tents and trailer tents. The Touring Park is situated in a secluded west facing field that offers stunning views of the Preseli Mountains.
All pitches are conveniently close to our modern toilet and shower facilities which were newly installed in 2007. Directly adjacent to the Touring Park, you will find our very own pub, 'The Stable Inn' and outdoor swimming pool.

Lovely site. Very clean although showers are a bit cramped.
Launderette facility was fine.
Pool not very deep (although would consider this safer as no lifeguards are at the pool) but very warm.
The clubhouse is very nice although sometimes there were not enough seats if you didn't get there early.
The food in the clubhouse was excellent and fairly priced.
Biggest disappointment was the barking of holiday makers dogs - obviously this should be controlled by the owners themselves although we did mention it to a member of staff who appreciated our comments.
The site is reasonably close to Oakwood, Pemberton Choc Farm, Folly Farm, Heatherton and Narberth is a lovely little town.
Would definitely go there again.
