Stone Pitt is a family run site set in 9 acres of gently sloping park land, which has been sensitively segregated into four enclosures, all with spacious hard standing pitches with grey water waste disposal points and electric hook ups. Each pitch is just a short walk to a toilet / shower block, washing up facilities and a laundry room. A freezer service is also provided. Well behaved pets are welcome. Wi fi internet access is available on site.

just returned from stone pitt 01/08/08-08/08/08 the site was spotless as were all of the services, the owners could'nt have been more helpfull.
my mains lead was to short (they lent me one) i had no grey waste pipe (they lent me one). the kids ran around safely with no worries (they even watched the wild rabbits & pigeons around the park) toilets & showers cleaned twice daily & never had to queue fo facilities. excellent site & very peacefull

Just had a lovely fortnight at this site, owner Clare could not have been more helpfull. Lovely and clean and tidy, 2 shower blocks always clean. All caravan/motorhome pitches hardstandings, plus small area for tents, electric hookups and waste water disposals on caravan pitches, hope to have fresh water to pitches in the future. Small but adequate play area for the children in its own enclosed area. Have already recommended site to friends who hope to try site very soon. Would definetly return if I was visiting area again.
