Littlesea Holiday Park

Discover the magnificent views from the poolside sun terrace and you may well choose to stay put. But then again, there’s so much to see and explore at Littlesea Holiday Park.
Feel free to fill each day in just your own way. Every family is different of course, but a typical day might begin with a lazy lie in or a family B Fit session. It could be a morning in the heated indoor and outdoor pool complexes or enjoying a game on the Adventure Golf or Sports Court.
Lunch out at a great little pub or pop into our Mash and Barrel Lounge-Bar-Café. Afternoon hit the All-Weather Multi-Sports Court, explore Dorset or enjoy an Archery Coaching session.
Early evening enjoy a stroll on the beach or a barbecue. Then head off to the ShowBar for a drink, live music and dancing.
So, whether it's out and about or staying on the Park, you're sure to have a great holiday at Littlesea.

The best thing about this site is the area its situated in. Weymouth is a beautiful town and has one of the best beaches in the UK. Very safe and clean. Situated on the outskirts of the town, Littlesea is listed as an all action park. I'm not sure it really deserves that title but certainly there's lots for younger children to do, such as the various clubs where you can leave your young energiser bunnies to paint, draw, play and take part in sporting activities. They also have an indoor and outdoor pool but they're quite small and always packed full so it can be a bit of a jostle and a bit hairy for those not to sure in the water. I've been to this haven site four times now because i love Weymouth so much and this is the best Haven site in the area. I do think the arcade/amusement area could be bigger and better. It's a bit small and lacklustre and not a lot there for older teens. That could be said for all Haven camps as they all seem to be pretty similar.
There is a downside that I've noticed in this park and that is the caravans are not always as clean or welcoming as they could be. They are also packed in so tightly together that unless you pay a lot of money for a high end one, you'll find yourself packed in like sardines with very little sunlight coming into through the windows and very little privacy. This is a big problem in Littlesea. By packing in as many as they can they leave guests in caravans feeling like they're in an inner city. There have also been a couple of issues with caravans with cleanliness. Badly fitting curtains, damp carpets and such. This has happened on 2 out of our 4 holidays there, so its a bit pot luck. Nothing too bad but still when you go on holiday you like everything to be perfect.
They do have the two clubs for evening entertainment. One for adults (Children are also allowed) and one for children/families. To be honest even when my children were younger they found the Childrens entertainment a bit cringeworthy and again its very difficult to even get a seat in there it gets so packed and can get a bit hairy if you have younger children racing about the place.
Overall I'd say that if you have young children under the age of 10, they'd enjoy the park, but if you have older teens, then maybe its not the place for them.
Would I take my teens back here? Probably would, but have to be honest and say thats because of the area its in not because of the park itself. All in all I think maybe this Park is so anxious to pack in as many people as they can they sometimes forget or don't have time for those little touches that make a holiday special.

Wow - What a great site! I'm always a little cautious when I book a Haven site as I stayed at Blue Dolphin in Scarborough last year which was terrible but this one must be the jewel in the crown. The welcome from the warden was excellent and she walked us to our pitch even offering to get help to push us in nose first to the seaview pitch we had booked. The price was good at £50 for 5 nights with electric on the seaview pitch which was clearly marked and had plenty of space for our caravan, awning and car with enough room to put the table outside to eat.
The toilet block was perfect too - new, with good showers, clean toilets, a very good waste water/elsan point and spotlessly clean with plenty of room at all times.
Overall, a great experience of this site and I would definately return.

This was a very nice site for kids. and we found so much to do we only went in to the club twice but both times it was ok but what i noticed with this site was the shower block always seemed to be being cleaned the whole place was frinedly and the walks around the area are lovely. the fish in waymouth is the best i have ever had all round would say it is good for every one. oh one thing was it was very busy and a lot in a small space we could have all done with a few foot more space. but to a few others i have been to this was great.
